We can help you with your English needs. Our instructors understand that your assignments, resume, job applications and presentations need to be perfect; we can also help you with your proofreading and editing needs.
What is Talk About English?
Talk About English is an online English 
conversation school serving students aged 16 years and over. Once you schedule a lesson, your instructor will appear live on your computer screen via a web camera and conduct a 45 minute personal lesson as part of your individual study programme.
As well as direct instruction and live conversation, during the lesson you will be able to hear recordings of the vocabulary and grammar in use to help develop your comprehension and to practise your English. Your instructor will also use multimedia tools for effective and enjoyable learning. These include two-way video and audio, digital whiteboard, sound files, video files, digital photos and illustrations, instant text chat and live desktop views. At the end of each lesson you will receive helpful feedback and be given suggestions on techniques to 
remember what you have learned and to improve your English.
Lessons on special topics, or aimed at specific tasks such as proofreading are also available on request.
Who can study with Talk About English?
If you are over 16, and have a PC with a broadband Internet connection, web camera and a headset, you are ready to begin! Minimum system requirements are here.
Lessons may be taken at any level, from beginner to advanced. Your instructor will check your level of ability in your first session, and begin your study programme at a level which will benefit you the most.
Our teaching system integrates with any audio/video chat (VOIP) software such as Skype. Through the video window we are able to share a huge range of multimedia tools to improve your learning experience.
We recommend Skype for full-screen video chat (it’s free to download, and easy to use!), but our system will integrate with other p2p (peer to peer) video chat applications, including: Skype, Festoon, AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), Windows Live Messenger, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Sightspeed, Paltalk and more. You can use your own webcam and headset or we can supply those for you.
